accessing buildings

At the University of Oregon's Stake campus, we utilize two primary cards to facilitate your campus experience: the Flock Card and the UO Stake Access Card. While the Flock Card serves as your official university identification, complete with library privileges and Duck Bucks functionality, the UO Stake Access Card is essential for accessing academic buildings, labs, and select campus facilities, especially during off-hours. Whether you're a new student needing to obtain both cards or a returning student looking to pick up replacements, this FAQ provides guidance on obtaining and using these cards effectively during your time at UO Stake.

All students must have an access card to get into locked buildings after buildings close to the public. Access cards also provide students access into studio spaces, labs, and other areas that are never open to the public. Students are invited to request a Flock Card to check out books and equipment through the library and their academic programs.

Safety

Campus Safety patrols campus daily whenever buildings are open. After building hours, Allied University security maintains a presence on campus to support students who live in University housing.

Campus Safety's office is located in the Stake Campus Center, Room 135. Stop by to request a SafeWalk to your on-campus apartment, vehicle, or nearby public transit stop, to get access to a locked room or building, or to replace/report a missing UO Stake access card.
